Daly Bottle, Grain hire new manager

Staff report

The Daly Bottle Shop and Grain Fine Food are under new management.

Kim Anderson, a 20-year veteran of the industry, is taking over the daily operations and buying for both stores, said owner Reed Lewis in a statement. Anderson’s expertise spans many facets of the beverage business, most notably as a sommelier at New York City’s Babbo and Windows on the World.

Customers to the Snowmass Village Mall businesses will notice lower prices beginning May 1.

“I’ve worked diligently with our purveyors to negotiate substantially lower costs across the board,” Anderson said. “In addition to more competitive prices, we would like to expand our selection of delicious ‘everyday’ wines and other products that locals have specifically requested.”

Daly Bottle Shop will be open from 3 to 9 p.m. daily during offseason.
