Always a place for après

As an up-and-coming new resort, Snowmass-at-Aspen touted the many sunny days that shined on the ski area. Even in the late 1960s, skiers could enjoy the warmer days on the deck of the Timbermill at Snowmass either as a long lunch break or a little après time. The Timbermill had many musicians grace its stage over the years, making for lively afternoons and evenings on the edge of the slopes. Image taken by John M. Smith, circa 1969.
