Josie Taris is a reporter for the Aspen Times. An army brat lucky enough to claim a true hometown, Josie moved from Fayetteville, NC to Evanston, IL to study journalism at Northwestern University. She then worked for North Carolina Public Radio producing for the daily news show The State of Things and reporting for the newscast. In 2021, she followed her sister to Vail to work from home as a podcast producer — and as a host in a restaurant to make rent. Now the mountains are home! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and snuggling with her cat.
