Sandoval: Bring Bamboo Bear back

I support Bamboo Bear making a comeback. This restaurant was my go to for affordable eats. Bamboo Bear was the only restaurant in town that would answer the phone for not only for a to-go order but order in advance for lunch so you can show up 15 minutes later and your food was ready to sit down and eat, which was convenient with a short lunch hour.

During Covid they dialed in and catered to everyone with their flawless pickup service — they nailed it. I ended up as a regular customer during Covid sometimes twice per week to support them because the food was delicious, affordable, and the staff was amazing. 

Their food was always consistent and no, he didn’t raise the prices during Covid. I can’t afford to eat at Little Ollies anymore and they are no longer open for lunch. The going rate for pho in town is between $30-$40 per bowl now and, honestly, I haven’t found good pho in town since Bamboo Bear closed. Bamboo never had to have a “happy hour” or special hours for discounted meals because the price was always the same. They also didn’t raise their prices for dinner service. Please bring Bamboo Bear back. I miss getting Bamboozled.
