Sand: A springboard to ‘Holiday Love’

A quiet but amazing event has been taking place these past weeks in which dozens of families in our community have been helped during this holiday season through the incredible kindness of people who have donated money, much-needed grocery gift cards, toys, and food.
Our team at Aspen Family Connections is privileged to have been the conduit to a huge number of families for so much of what we call “Holiday Love,” and we can not thank everyone involved enough for understanding that these are tough times for many people.
The gratitude expressed by our families is moving and emotional — no one likes to have to admit that they need extra help but when we break down these barriers and support each other, amazing things happen and we build confidence, trust, and love. This is a wonderful community and we particularly want to thank Andy Modell (Thanksgiving Turkey Supremo), Ann Blackwell and the Holiday Baskets team, Minette Stapleton and her colleagues at Coldwell Banker Mason Morse, the families and staff of Aspen Country Day School, Harvest for Hunger and many, many individuals for their monumental generosity.
