Ray Reynolds

Ray Reynolds passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. He was born Jan. 18, 1957, in Greeley, Colo., to Marvin and Ruth Reynolds. He moved to Aspen with his father at the age of 14 and went on to graduate from Aspen High School in 1975.

Ray spent most of his professional life in construction, specializing in custom trim. He worked mainly in the Aspen and Vail areas and a few years in Maui, Hawaii. In 2007, Ray moved to Moab, Utah.

Ray was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. He had numerous friends spread across the Western Slope. He is survived by his father, Marvin Reynolds of Rifle; sisters Cathy Reynolds of Grand Junction, and Susan White of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter Kendall Clifton of Nashville, Tenn.; and son Joe Thomas of Mesa, Ariz.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Callahan Edfast Mortuary located in Grand Junction.
