Mooney: Ecotopia, please
I fantasize an Ecotopia for future citizens of Earth, both human and animal, using clean, renewable, and sustainable energy sources. We are smart enough to do this.
On the other side of this coin, some people fantasize about humanity burning fossil fuels 400 more years. Yes, there are benefits: palm trees in Greenland where there used to be ice miles thick. Floridians will like it because most of Florida will be underwater.

My sentence in a previous letter to the editor stating people not obeying Aspen values by leaving their gas-burning cars on while parked are insane needs clarification, as I don’t do ad hominem attacks …
