Trust the trail process

I find it disheartening, to say the least, that even after Pitkin County’s protracted process — with an excellent examination of routes, ecosystems and addressing of an overarching need to provide a path for people to safely travel between communities along the Crystal River — that the only route that is affordable and requires no new development or change to the look of the valley is hounded from consideration by a few people who are unable to imagine a future where their grandchildren can safely ride to Redstone.
