Torre vows to make Aspen better

I am asking for one of your votes for City Council.

I have had the honor to serve as your councilman before and I seek to continue the good work we started. I promise to respect your voice, Aspen’s history and our legacy. I represent an Aspen for all, our community and the resort.

Your vote for Torre for council is a vote for environmental leadership, supporting current residents and creating affordable-housing opportunities, new and existing local business support, community building, smart growth principals and communicating citizen voice into decision-making.

In the past four years, I have seen and learned from the missteps of the current council. I know that we can do better! I am excited about the future of Aspen and I believe in our ability to be smarter, greener, more efficient and more united as a community. We are so fortunate to live in this magnificent place and with so many resources available to us. We do have our challenges of housing, sustaining local business, environmental stewardship, and the difficulties for families and the lifelong Aspenite. There are new challenges coming, as well, and I see opportunity in all of them. I promise to listen to you, and work with you to solve these issues for the best of Aspen.

I want to thank all the supporters that have given of your time, money, your vote and continued belief in cooperative, community inspired representation. I also commend all the candidates in this election. You are all good people that are giving of themselves for a job that is often difficult, to say the least.

Again, I ask for you to vote Torre for council and put me back to work for your Aspen. Thank you.
