Questionable alliance between U.S., Israel

Rather than voting against anti-Semitism, Congress needs to be discussing why the U.S. gives more aid to Israel than other countries and continues to defend their actions. Israel is a small, affluent country with a successful economy. Since the creation of Israel, the U.S. has provided it with billions in aid and currently has an agreement to provide it with billions more annually in military aid.

Criticizing Israeli polices, its occupation and colonization of Palestinian land, violations of international laws and UN resolutions is not anti-Semitic or an attack on Jews.

Congress and the American people need to address why the U.S. gives so much aid and support to Israel. Could it be the powerful Israeli lobby group, AIPAC?
