How ironic and also how sad that Paradise Bakery was the target of determined thieves (“Burglars pry open Aspen bakery’s safe, steal cash,” Jan. 17, The Aspen Times). Paradise has for decades been one of the most generous locally owned business. It’s hard to find a race, a senior luncheon at the Senior Center or one sponsored by the Elks, or the many benefits for vets or children cancer victims where yummy goodies from Paradise are not front and center.
Robbers: Shame on you!
