Mullins leads by example

I am writing to support Ann Mullins’ re-election to the Aspen City Council. Ann has made important contributions to our community and the preservation of its unique character.

As a member and chair of the Historic Preservation Commission and over the past four years as a member of the Aspen City Council, Ann has brought a thoughtful deliberation to the issues that challenge our town.

Most recently, Ann and the council have rewritten the land-use code so that it reflects the goals of the Aspen Area Community Plan, a rewriting essential in addressing the town’s concerns over size, scale and view planes.

Additionally, Ann’s strong position on protecting AspenModern is indicative of the value she places on the preservation of Aspen’s mid-century architectural heritage.

I hope that you will join me in supporting Ann Mullins for City Council.
