More gondolas for everyone

Jim Markulunas is totally right about the unstoppable valley-wide congestion throughout the entire Roaring Fork Valley.

Jim is also right that a top-of-the-mountain gondola connecting the four mountains would just work for skiers.

Jim’s letter speaks of two traffic problems: Commuting valleywide and commuting locally in the upper valley of Aspen and Snowmass. https://www.aspentimes.com/opinion/letters-to-the-editor/glenwood-to-aspen-light-rail-is-the-answer/

My letter targets the gridlock of Aspen and Snowmass and supports the addition of a no-wait urban aerial valley-floor gondola system originating at Brush Creek Park and Ride — with two valley-floor alignments. https://www.aspentimes.com/opinion/letters-to-the-editor/visions-of-an-aerial-gondola-over-aspen/

The two valley-floor aerial alignments are from Brush Creek Park & Ride which intersects to the destinations of:

1. Snowmass Village along Brush Creek Road

2. Aspen along Highway 82 with stops at Aspen Airport and Buttermilk.

End result: Aspen, Snowmass and the airport are connected

As for the entire Roaring Fork Valley gridlock situation, that’s another rail letter. Happy Thanksgiving, Jim … perseverance.
