Letter: The Fourth parade is fine as is
I think Mr. Tim Poor (“The menace of merriment,” July 10, Commentary, The Aspen Times), if affected by children having fun at a parade, should stay at home. Parades are mostly for the kids’ enjoyment. If he knows he is affected by children having fun, then he should take anti-anxiety pills along with his high-blood pressure meds when attending any children attractions.
I think the organizers and firemen do a great job every year.
