Letter: The city does some good

The city is to be commended for two great projects. After more than 30 years, the city finally built a safe bikeway across the Castle Creek bridge. The sidewalk was widened and a safety barrier installed. Now it is a pleasure to cross the bridge on my bike. Secondly, the Downtowner is wonderful. It is so nice to be picked up for a free trip to and from the core. The only downside is that my car is sitting in the garage unused.

Now if the city could do something about only approving buildings that are of the appropriate scale for a small mountain town, then we would have something really outstanding.
