Letter: Thankful for community kindness
My name is Allison Daily, and I am the executive director of Pathfinders, a local nonprofit that provides counseling and volunteer services for people in our valley with cancer, illnesses, grief and loss. Recently, one of our clients needed help with her older car and didn’t have the funds to pay for an estimate. Land Rover’s service department — service manager Roger Yount, specifically — listened to me as I explained the situation and without hesitation agreed to help this woman and family. Thank you also to general manager Vince Smith and Bruce Bell for their kindness.
I want to say a huge thank-you to Land Rover! We are blessed to have such a high-quality place that agreed to help a nonprofit and a customer that had nothing to give back.
