Teacher speak

In response to the ongoing controversy over the Latin motto for Aspen State Teachers College, I offer the following for the chancellor to consider:

• Educatio stultorum in flagrante delicto — (caught in the act of) learning something stupid

• Nunquan ante meridium — Never (out of bed) before noon

• Aut disce aut discede — Learn or (keep it in your pants)

Support Local Journalism

• Discimus imbecillius ab asino lenam — Educating morons (is what we’re paid for)
