Letter: Some full-moon respect is in order
Some full-moon respect is in order
The ridge above West Buttermilk was an appalling mess on Thursday morning after the full moon. Bottles, cans, cigarette butts, hand warmers and other garbage littered the area. Empty or partially empty Diet Coke, orange Gatorade, and ginger beer bottles; crushed Budweiser cans; purple and florescent green fabric flowers; still-smoldering fire pits; yellow snow everywhere. Here’s an idea: Forgo the drinks and solve the bottle and yellow-snow problem in one fell swoop. At the very least, pack it out and cover your yellow tracks with snow. Please respect the land or stay inside.
