Letter: Rave review
We’re always looking for new great restaurants and tried out the new Aspen Kitchen last weekend. Normally we give a new restaurant a month or so before giving them the once-over, but we heard from friends that this place really had its act together. Well, that was an understatement — we had one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and that includes those in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. A new bar has been set for Aspen restaurants. Aspen Kitchen is great. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was quick and friendly.
I don’t normally write letters, but knew I just had to after we tried the escargot fritters and house ricotta bread appetizer. Four of us shared these, and they were fantastic. We all loved our main courses of roasted suckling pig, cauliflower head, rabbit and salmon. I hear the steaks are to die for, and can’t wait to try one next visit.
Don’t miss this extraordinary restaurant.
