Muslim world isn’t anti-Israel

It is such a shame to see an educated man succumb to the belief that he can characterize a country by a single visit. Paul Anderson’s comments are fully loaded with inaccuracies because of his superficial exposure to the real world of the Middle East. Israel does not control the Palestinian refugee camps, nor does it have a military presence at these camps which are located in the areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority in the west bank. Before the modern State of Israel was established, the Jewish National Fund purchased all of the land from Arab owners and then established Jewish settlements. None of that was confiscated. Today, after the six-day war in 1967, Israel gained control over Judea and Samaria. Palestine did not exist because the Arabs rejected the offer of a Palestinian state on the West Bank. Land on which Israel built settlements in the West Bank was “no man’s land,” owned by nobody. Who ever determined that Israel youth are in danger of losing their stomach to defend their country. How can anything that Israel does or not do “fuel Arab unity against Israel.” The Muslim world is notoriously anti-Israel, and neither Russia nor China (paragons of morality) can even begin to think about being “the next big players on this tumultuous stage.” Aside from those two countries’ primary interest in their own self aggrandizement, who would be foolish enough to deign to invite them onto the “tumultuous stage?”
