Letter: Moving past the gridlock in Washington

I’m a registered Republican, but I won’t be voting for Donald Trump or Scott Tipton in November. Trump is incompetent, and Tipton doesn’t seem to understand that being a U.S. Representative means he should represent the people of his district, not outside big industries. Gail Schwartz, who has represented much of the same district as a state senator, has proven she will listen to the public, can successfully work across the aisle and build coalitions to create jobs and policies to make Colorado stronger. Tipton has been successful in creating gridlock in Washington. Schwartz can move us beyond that.
