Letter: Good memories never die

It wasn’t just the excellent performances — the singing, the dancing, the staging, the ABBA music. It was all that, of course, but it also was recalling the first time I fell in love, the second time in the ’70s and then the third time in the ’80s.

You get the idea. Falling in love, even the umpteenth time, is glorious. And if you can’t fall again, or haven’t in a very long time, the next-best thing might be feeling it in memory.

Good memories never die and are all the sweeter for being recalled during an act of art such as a Theatre Aspen’s performance of “Mamma Mia!”

Oh, yes! What a love, what a light!

Thank you, Theatre Aspen. Thank you for the memories!
