Letter: Fun at Science Sundays
Jimmy Yeager is hosting Science Sundays at his restaurant this month. If you don’t know about them, you should!
My son and I stopped by last Sunday. He made some rock candy, created a density column, saw the magic of supersaturation and made some ice cream in a Ziploc bag. We are counting down the days until this Sunday — robotics, energy, magnets, conductive paint and more ice cream. Jimmy even provides a light lunch. I know we all have a variety of activities to choose from every day, but if you want something really fun to do with your kids (or let them go on their own) or come on your own, keep Science Sundays in mind. The doors at Jimmy’s are open from 12 to 4 p.m. for discovery and hands-on fun.
Don’t be intimidated by the word “science.” The activities are so interesting. The Aspen Science Center is doing so much for people of all ages, and you really should come by and check it out. Hope to see you there!
