Letter: Drawing the wrong conclusions

Daryl Cagle’s editorial cartoon in Sunday’s newspaper is grossly misleading (Commentary, The Aspen Times, June 7). The Environmental Protection Agency’s report does not say that fracking is safe. It says that it found no evidence of “widespread” contamination of drinking-water resources but that it did find “specific” instances where fracking did contaminate drinking water. So, to call fracking safe is dishonest.
