Letter: Andersen’s West Bank

Commentary on the outrageous article written by columnist Paul Andersen:

I have no idea what this person was talking about in his article. He refers to herding of sheep in the West Bank. Does he compare that to the same as in Ireland? Does he complain that women use burkas and are forced often to do so? Is he complaining that women are inferior to men in that area? Think clearly now — who demands and enforces that?

Does he, in his ignorance, speak of the conditions of women in the West Bank insinuating that it is Israel’s fault? Does he not know that this way of life was created by their own and the West Bank assassins?

The most ridiculous of his comments is the reference to Palestinian refugee camps. First of all, they are in the West Bank and have been there since Jordan was the original owner of the area. Secondly, the world has donated to the West Bankers and Gazans billions of dollars. Even Arafat’s wife was gifted a mere $500 million. Imagine how different the living conditions there would be if there were no thieves.

To be more accurate, in Israel the Arabs live and work alongside Israeli Jews and have access to the law, democracy and all human rights.

Andersen questions why there are fences and Israeli guards near the West Bank: He apparently has never heard of suicide bombers, to say the least. Andersen the Democrat figures that the idiotic words spoken by Kerry and later denied are the gospel.

Perhaps the altitude where he lives is affecting him. Commentary on the outrageous article written by columnist Paul Andersen:
