Letter: An attentive bus system

I am in this area for a lengthy but temporary stay. My ailments take me to the Glenwood Springs hot pool and my research to the Aspen Public Library.

Transportation is so favorable and convenient that I take the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority instead of driving. The Hunter Creek bus takes me directly to the library.

However, due to construction, it has been very difficult for our wounded warriors and those such as myself with disabilities to access the library. Thus, I notified RFTA of the problem. My call was returned promptly by Kent Blackmer, chief of RFTA operations. He interceded and has made the library accessible.

May I use this opportunity through your publication to publicly thank Blackmer? Thank you!
