A vote for Jeanne is a vote for local youth
The Eagle River Youth Coalition was founded in 2001 with the goal of bringing various youth serving organizations together to more effectively assess and meet the changing needs of local youth. Our motto for the past several years has been "Making Youth a Community Priority." Since 2006, Jeanne McQueeney has been a part of our organization's board, and she absolutely embodies the idea of making our local youth a top community priority.
While Jeanne is most recognized locally for the years she has spent on the Eagle County School Board, she also has been crucial in helping implement several programs within the County that have improved the lives of our local kids, including the Wayfinders project, the Family Leadership Training Institute and Early Childhood Partners.
In working with Jeanne for the past eight years through Eagle River Youth Coalition, I have found her to be involved, insightful and compassionate. She is well-rounded in her ability to manage and lead; she is as comfortable looking through financial statements as she is discussing education policy, and she is willing to put in the time to understand the issues facing our youth, as well as track down the resources to address those issues.
Jeanne is hardworking, dedicated and, above all, community minded. A vote for Jeanne is a vote in support of our local youth. With Jeanne's leadership Eagle County will be well-positioned to develop the leaders of tomorrow.
