Let’s talk about the future of Aspen

Amazing. Santa arrived early this year. We must have been good. We got what we asked for. Now let’s make it a reality.

On Wednesday at Aspen Limelight hosted by the city of Aspen, an interactive open house event with free food called Feedback Forum will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m.

Topics include Galena Plaza keypad polling at noon and 5:30 p.m. Other topics include dockless mobility, small cell infrastructure and Paepcke transit hub. There also will be info tables for Lumberyard and Water Place II affordable housing projects, as well as Kids First.

Thanks, Santa, for helping us gather public input about what to do with Galena Plaza — connecting John Denver’s river sanctuary with Aspen mountain’s skiing and hiking.

Galena Plaza is a perfect place for … roasting chestnuts over an open solar fire pit?

Happy holidays.
