Colorado Civil Rights Commission is staffed by political hacks

The Colorado baker case just decided by the U.S. Supremes highlights a troubling, possibly totalitarian aspect of Colorado government.

The case arose from a decision of the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. The majority Supreme Court opinion noted that Colorado Civil Rights Commission members’ comments revealed flagrant prejudice against Christians. How could that have happened? A state commission, appointed by the governor, staffed by citizens steeped in constitutional law, especially the Bill of Rights? Not so much.

Check out www.colorado.gov/pacific/dora/civil-rights/commission. The Colorado Civil Rights Commission is staffed by political hacks trending to the progressive side of society with no apparent awareness, let alone education in civil rights law. And yet the Colorado Civil Rights Commission is invested with awesome power to punish, fine, even drive people out of business over complex legal issues in which they have no skill.
