To the black-clad peloton (or whatever you call yourselves) that hurtled past me without warning while entering a small tunnel and blind curve on the Emma Trail above Basalt on Wednesday: You have confirmed my observation that the more “serious” cyclists become, the ruder and more reckless they are. Had someone been coming from the opposite direction, the carnage would have been considerable.
Would it be such a great sacrifice for you to extend the same courtesy to pedestrians that motorists on the highway generally extend to you (even though many of them despise you for your self-centered arrogance)?
