Because they said so
Surviving the new administration in Washington is going to be easier than I anticipated, since the new president and his posse are willing to use alternative facts (lies) that open the door for the rest of us to use alternative reasoning when following the law. If it’s good enough for the president, it should be good enough for the general population.
It’s like the guy caught in bed with two women by his wife and he says: “Are you going to believe what you see or what I tell you?” You’re actually not reading this in The Aspen Times. You’re reading it in the San Diego Union Tribune, and that’s not snow you’re sliding around on but sand. You need to believe me because those are the alternative facts.
