Animals aren’t props

In regard to the idea of a horse stationed in front of Kemo Sabe:

I don’t care for this idea at all. It’s bad enough that we have horses pulling people in a carriage around Aspen in this day and age. Is it really necessary and appropriate to use a horse as a prop for a storefront? As a country, I thought we were beginning to grow past the idea of animals for the sake of entertainment. I am quite disheartened by the idea of this, let alone the reality of it.
