A disingenuous stance by Councilman Myrin

Councilman Bert Myrin’s stance for renewable energy is to be commended, if sincere. However, I am somewhat skeptical of his sincerity since he has a history of opposition to the restoration of the city’s historic hydro-electric facilities on Castle Creek.

It is common knowledge that the failure of the city’s efforts to obtain voter support was directly influenced by a deliberate and concerted campaign of misinformation and deceit by opponents of clean hydro-electric energy. As a result, I find Councilman Myrin’s statements somewhat disingenuous in regard to clean energy for the new police station.

Castle Creek hydro would have brought back to this community a locally produced, clean and renewable power supply.
