It’s incumbent upon authorities to enforce the law. According to Pitkin County assistant attorney Richard Neiley, Colorado law mandates the wearing of masks and social distancing. (“Pitkin County health order extended as facemask concerns dominate,” July 10, 2020) What justifies local resistance to enforcing the law?
