Vote David Hornbacher for Holy Cross Energy Board
It’s easy to feel powerless these days if you care about climate and energy issues. But this week, you have a tremendous opportunity to bolster some of the most exciting and meaningful work being done in our region.
If you get your electricity from Holy Cross Energy, you can vote (by mail-in ballot) for a new board member. Over the past decade, thanks to hard work by the board and staff, Holy Cross has become one of the nation’s leaders in clean energy, achieving aggressive renewable energy targets and developing innovative projects in solar, methane capture and biomass, all while ensuring reliable and affordable power.
Now, Holy Cross has hired a new CEO, Bryan Hannegan, who himself is a leader in clean energy and smart grid technology. Bryan will replace Del Worley, the man who led the utility’s transition, and who we owe our great thanks.
You can continue this remarkable progress toward a clean energy future by voting for David Hornbacher. David runs Aspen’s very progressive electric utility. He has 30 years of experience in the field; he is a good, friendly, respectful listener with deep experience to share; and he’s the obvious choice for the board.
You are not powerless. And in this small election, your vote matters.
Sincerely,
Auden Schendler
