Trump doing the perp walk

Come on out, Donnie. The jig’s up. Manafort, Cohen, Flynn, Pecker, Weisselberg and all the others — they’ve stabbed you in the back, Don. You got no staff and you got no chief of staff. Nobody wants to go down with your ship.

Look to history, Don. Nixon went quietly, didn’t raise a fuss. Just walked out to the helicopter and was gone. You could do the same, Don, and people — secretaries of state, national security advisers — would call you on the sly at Mar-a-Lago forever after asking which treaties and obligations and allies should be trashed and which strong men to make excuses for. And you could tell ‘em because you know all about that.

Don, your legacy’s already here for all to see. The forests burn, the winds blow, the waters flood, the earth quakes, the mud slides, the ground dries and cracks and the public land shrinks.

Don, surface temperature is at the boiling point. The kids are all in cages. People will remember you for this. What else is left for you to do? You didn’t get your wall, but we’ll see to it that you get other walls. Four of ‘em, probably. You can’t just stay holed up in there sitting on the crapper. You come out now and we’ll let you bring your box from the Colonel.

Do you know how to frog march, Don? Come on out and we’ll show you how to frog march. It’s a little uncomfortable at first, Don, but you’ll get used to it. Come on out Donnie, the jig’s up.

Poschman can’t muzzle the public

I express my concern about Pitkin County commissioner and chair of Pitkin’s Board of Health Greg Poschman’s statement at the Jan.13, 2022, Board of Health meeting.
