Sheriff DiSalvo cherry picks the laws
Let’s see: Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo swears an oath to uphold the law and then encounters a law he doesn’t like.
Using that excuse that, he decides not to enforce the federal law. What’s next, the sheriff decides that speeding or burglary do not fit his notion of a crime and decides not to enforce those laws either? I seem to remember that before marijuana was legalized in Colorado, he didn’t agree with that law either.
We elected him, supposing he was a law enforcement officer. Apparently we were wrong.
