Milias shines the light

Thanks for supporting Elizabeth Milias’ investigative journalism. Her reportage, particularly in last Sunday’s edition, is superb and all too rare (“Subsidized Housing — 3,000 more units is 12 Centennials,” column, Feb. 13, The Aspen Times).

Further, Neil Siegel’s letter, whether right or wrong, perceptively identifies what, in my opinion, is perhaps our most important community issue (“Aspen leadership divides community,” Feb. 14, The Aspen Times). I am reminded of the aphorism: Democracy cannot function in the dark.

I hope you will reach out to our electeds and get their side of the story.
