Johnson for mayor

Dear Editor:

I wanted to be sure and let my thoughts out about the up coming election in Aspen. I have known Derek Johnson for a long time and in that time my experience with him has been nothing but rewarding. Derek and I have successfully engineered the start up of the Aspen High School football program at the turn of the century. My first thoughts on surrounding myself with experience, hard workers and dedication was finding that special person who shared my values of giving back to the community.

Derek Johnson is that special person. He has proven his unselfishness in anything he does. He has his hand on the pulse of the locals, knowing how hard it is to raise a family and afford to live in this valley, and finding time to help with youth programs, attend council meetings, and prove that he wants more.

Derek Johnson deserves a chance to move to the next level. Please, get out and vote for Derek Johnson for mayor!
