LJ has mayoral vision

Dear Editor:

Until three years ago, I lived downvalley, but, having worked in Aspen for nearly 30 years, I have seen many changes in Aspen. The buildings get higher and higher, and the parking gets more expensive, making Aspen less worker-friendly and less attractive to what we need most — visitors!

Now that I live in Aspen and have a voice in who serves our community, I urge you to vote for LJ Erspamer for mayor. I have known LJ and his wife, Marcia, since I moved here in 1984. He has always impressed me with his clear vision for our town’s future and his love for our town and community.

I believe LJ is highly qualified to be mayor. He has owned and operated his own business in Aspen, making it easy for him to relate to our local business owners. He has always been involved in his community, including the Snowmass Fire Department, Aspen School District, Aspen Recreation Center, and the Lewis Ice Area, and is the current chair of the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission.

LJ has raised his family here, as I have. His vision for our beloved town mirrors my own. This is the person we need as our mayor.

I believe that LJ represents my vision for the future of Aspen. Vote for LJ Erspamer and let him represent you as well.

More kindness, less judgment with Mulcahy

|

I would like to make a comment to Aspen-Pitkin County Housing Authority, city of Aspen, Aspen Skiing Co., etc. with the ongoing Lee Mulcahy drama that has infested our community. In fact, it really applies…
