Lift One project developer’s comment was out of bounds

As per Jim DeFrancia’s likening the Lift One victory to a football score, there’s no comparison (“Lift One proposal: Voters approve new Aspen Mountain base area by 26 votes,” March 6, The Aspen Times).

1. A football game’s scoring is basically objective and a vote subjective.

2. More games will be played the following weeks and unfortunately the vote will not.

Hopefully we’ll be able to stop the project somehow. Can’t wait for Lift 1A to be closed for two seasons!

Vote for Torre. I’m signing off for a while or more.
