Letter: Which Jewish leaders?

Which Jewish leaders?

I haven’t had an opportunity to respond to one of Sue Gray’s letters in quite some time. If I had seen any, I’m sure I would have responded because they are always so full of half-truths, untruths or totally undocumented statements that I would hate to think that there are readers out there that might possibly believe anything she writes.

This time, her letter is harder to refute because she doesn’t mention any of the religious leaders who have “brainwashed” us Jews into believing that the “Middle East conflicts” (i.e. Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, etc.) are not our fault. We foolishly continue to believe it represents “Arab violence.”

Since I haven’t seen or heard of Sue being at any of our local religious services, I’m sure she meant to exclude our local Jewish leaders from those who promote colonialist expansion for Israel. As a matter of fact, I doubt if Sue has been to Jewish worship services anywhere lately, but if I’m mistaken I would like to hear from her so that I could stand by her side denouncing those same leaders whose views she vilifies.

Alongside many other American Jews, I have often stated that I disagree with many things the Israelis have done and that I have wished the road to peace could be found. It’s just that the road is going to be a lot harder to find when people like Sue Gray continue to spew the ridiculous garbage that they have become infamous for.
