Letter: Waste in the water

I can’t believe that there are people willing to let their town continue to dump toxic waste into their water supply. The fluoride you are drinking is not naturally occurring. It is a toxic waste byproduct from aluminum industries. If it came from a natural source, it might be a different story, but it’s not.

This is an unethical form of mass medication, and it cannot be controlled. So I will tell you exactly what you are drinking: fluorosilicic acid. This is a toxic waste substance from the production of aluminum, fertilizer steel and nuclear industries. It is not the natural element.

This is making our children, animal life, streams and rivers sick. It also creates a lot of pollution in our atmosphere. Even in low levels it is linked to bone fractures, thyroid disorders, cancer and impaired brain development and function. Fluoride is categorized with arsenic and lead. Would you give your children arsenic and lead?

Dr. William H. Wesson who was an admired dentist for many years in this valley, knew the dangers of fluoride and became an activist on this subject. He had tons of research and tried to bring people to awareness of the negative health effects.

Again, this is not a natural fluoride. This is an industrial waste material that is being dumped into your water supply. Wake up, people.
