Letter: Voters did the right thing

Thank you once again, good people of Aspen, for voting in the right guy for this job. He will be the right one, if anyone is, to carry Referendum 1 forward to battle the negative impacts the town has had to suffer. He had the wisdom to see the people needed a law, too, to fight back with. Its very cumbersomeness in requiring an election is its true genius, to my mind. Even big money is powerless over the stamina and pace of the city of Aspen personnel who actually run this kind of thing — an election. Everyone is. The Monkey Wrench Gang isn’t dead.
