Letter: Vote McQueeney for Eagle County commissioner
Vote McQueeney for Eagle County commissioner
I am writing to express my support for Jeanne McQueeney and to ask my friends and community members to join me in voting for her in the upcoming election.
Jeanne has been a fearless and effective advocate in support of education and the environment, among other issues, for more than two decades. For example, she founded Early Childhood Partners, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing quality preschool education for all children and families in our community.
I came to know Jeanne during her commitment as chairwoman of Mountain Rural Philanthropy Days, a collaborative program that builds excellence among the nonprofit and social service agencies that support our community, and she has an extremely strong rapport to the people in our region. Her extensive connectivity and knowledge of the area is important when it comes to making decisions because she appreciates and understands how long-lasting and far-reaching her determinations can be on our small, close-knit community.
Jeanne McQueeney has proven that she is a leader throughout her 20-plus years as an Eagle County resident and administrator. Jeanne’s experience combines fiscal responsibility and entrepreneurship with the energy and compassion of a long-serving civic steward. Jeanne is a woman of genuine integrity who will play a positive roll in championing the needs of Eagle County residents.
Jeanne truly cares for our children, our families and Eagle County as a whole, and we could not ask for a better candidate to continue to do just that: represent us and care for our great community. Please join me in voting for Jeanne McQueeney as Eagle County commissioner.
