Letter: Vertical living

After a rather lengthy absence to Aspen, and while visiting my son’s downtown home, I noticed the vertical development. How in the world have the residents of Aspen allowed such a display of Aspen’s complete disregard of good living space and taste? No two constructions display the bad taste, greed and downtown destruction as the Hechts’ buildings. I propose that the residents, while passing along these two buildings, salute the developers by raising the right arm with only one finger extended. It would be the H.H. salute, while the people who approved this development would be given the job of “dog-poop inspectors.” It’s a shame that the two biggest “poops” cannot be put in the garbage bins.
