Letter: Us and them
Pondering Paul Andersen’s column from Monday, “Unequal in Aspen,” when people ask me about “the good old days,” my first reply is: “In the old days the rich and famous came here to get away from the bulls—. Now they come looking for it and Aspen is only happy to oblige.”
I’ve recently though the real anti-Christ is the stock market. Think about it, we’re owned and governed by corporations, which are more focused on bottom lines than kitchen lines, and always will be once they go public.
