Letter: Tree Farm would be a mistake

I would like to express my disappointment with the Ace Lane project and would like to see the proposal rejected. The sketch-plan requirements have not been addressed, it would create huge traffic issues, it would not contribute beneficial taxes to Basalt, and it would burden tax-funded services (police and schools) with no requirement to contribute to their support. I feel that this project, if seen to completion, would be one of the biggest development mistakes this valley has ever seen. I ask that the Eagle County commissioners reject this proposal and keep this huge development project out of our midvalley.
