Letter: Travesty of justice

I’ve never written a letter to the editor, so I feel I should disclose that I voted for District Attorney Sherry Caloia.

If most people besides wealthy Andrew Hecht’s son had slammed their girlfriend’s head into a cement floor, threatened to kill her parents and called her 157 times afterward, we’d be facing several felonies.

Our elected DA says felony charges are not warranted against the well-connected Nikos Hecht.

Instead of refusing to appoint a special prosecutor and making our justice system a laughing stock, Caloia should just do citizens a favor and just resign.
