Torre: a friend and hopefully a mayor

Dear Editor:

I am writing in support of my friend Torre as Aspen mayor.

If you know Torre, it doesn’t take long to see his passion for so many things, Aspen being at the top of his list. He takes pride in his professionalism and success teaching tennis; he is always talking about environmentalism; he wants Aspen to be fun, diverse, prosperous; he always asks what you think about your job or home and how he can make it better for you.

Torre really does care, and I think he would bring the energy, attitude and experience to represent Aspen best. And, the other candidate is still on City Council, vote Torre for mayor.
